Heavy,
You didn't bother reading the links did you? I hope that the following can help you with the remainder of your high school career...
You wrote that you created an inference:
Quote:
It's not any perceived limitations that reduce your chances with women, but rather how much you buy into these limitations that will affect your success.
If you see yourself as too fat to game women, then of course it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Quote:
A fit, in-shape guy can have issues with women if he believes he is socially inept, intellectually challenged, etc (pick your poison). His belief has nothing to do with objective reality, as you'd call it, but rather that he has bought into any of these self-defeating beliefs and therefore has made them a part of his reality (e.g., will stumble over himself verbally if he believes he has poor communication skills, even if in reality he doesn't, he will simply filter in any information that can be construed (or misconstrued) to fit this reality.
Statement: Limited thinking will limit your success.
Reasoning: Even a physically capable person, with limited thinking, will stunt his capabilities.
Assumption: If a physically capable person thinks objectively, he will realize he is physically capable.
Try ^this exercise with our overweight OP and tell me how you feel it can even be remotely analogous to his situation. It's as moronic is telling somebody that:
1. Lebron James can dunk the ball because he believes in himself.
2. I believe in myself.
3. I can dunk a ball.
*To the OP. . . Go to the FR section. Read through some sample journals. Create one for yourself.
