After reading doubleyourdating, one of the tips was get a nice cologne. So at the mall a cute salesperson offers me a smell sample
Her: you work here?
Me: nah, I don't here, why?
Her: here try this *hands over sample*
me: smells good what else you got
*so I go towards her genuinely interested in buying something. But she cute so imma holla while at it

Pulled the corny "I know you from somewhere" bit as a conversational starter, while test smellin some other stuff she recommends, I kept a smooth non awkward flow using what I learned from Jugglers relate and reward method. Entire time I made sure i was never the first to break eye contact.
What I believe changed the dynamics of the conversation was after she wouldn't break eye contact for what felt like a minute.
Me: *cuts her off in mid sentence* you have real long eye lashes, I like that
*i don't smile or anything, jus held the eye contact*
Her: thanks, you have nice eyes too, some people think I'm asian.
Then she opens up personally about herself, which gave me plenty of opportunities to playfully call her out and tease her.
*towards the end*
Me: $90 bucks for some cologne! yeah.. nvm I'm not tryna spend that much
Her: I can give it to you for $30, employees discount
me: oh yeah... that's wssup. aite I'll get it
As I'm paying..
me: appreciate the hook up, I owe you. what you like better Starbucks or jamba juice?"
Her: I love Starbucks, especially their caramel frap
Me: here *pull out phone* give me your number, we'll figure something out
her: I can't there's cameras and mic's
Me: aite,, I guess your a good girl
*its around 9 o clock*
her: my boss said I could get off early, let's go when I get off at 930
She then finds Out I can't because my ride is picking me up soon, where she then finds out I have no car because I gave my car to my baby momma to get to work n back. I then left in a hurry cuz ride arrived. there's an after story but this posts purpose is for the FR
