Basically been trying to set up a d2 with a girl I met at a party. Everything looked set for Monday evening and then she texts me about 4 hours before we were supposed to head out saying she needs to stay at work and then really needed to sort out her stuff for moving (which is true she is moving out, I work with her flat mate), she finished the text with "another time?".
I replied saying "well when are you free?" - probably should have suggested something as opposed to this but too late now. However that was over 24 hours ago and no reply.
Got a feeling that this isn't destined to really go anywhere but I'm persistent so I'm willing to give it one more shot.
However not really sure how to restart the text game, was thinking of something like
"Have you been kidnapped? Assuming not how about a drink on xxxxx"
All and any advice gratefully received.

Then tell her that you are going out for drinks with friends. Any girl would naturally expect that you are going to invite her. But don't invite her this week. That's for next week.
Inviting her now makes you look needy and lower your DHV. just send something cocky funny like
1. I am downstairs to see you, but this dumb security guard won't let me in the zoo. Is there any way you can escape?
As general rule of text game WITH EXCEPTIONS
Never message more than she messages you
never let her end a text cnvo, it should always be you
And take more time than she takes to reply msgs
PATIENCE is the key.
