What can I say?

Sometimes I meet girls that interest me and sometimes I don't.

I can talk on a wide range of subjects but if the girl bores me and I feel she is not bothering to please me by interacting I lose interest fast.

I would be interested to see how far the average relationship goes, when the initial conversation hits an awkward snag. Most likely it's b/c the pair doesn't have enough in common or there's not mutual interest.

Generally speaking I think if 2 people are compatible the conversation won't hit the snag until it's transpired long enough it's safe to hit a snag. I can open with situation and within a couple minutes be talking about about something we both have interest in. Current events, politics, sports, pets, TV, etc. I do a lot of clubbing so some of my initial conversation revolves around the club it self, band, dj, patrons, other clubs in the area, have you been to such and such new club, heard of it, etc. Open ended questions are good too. But, If both people want the conversation to flow, they will keep it flowing until silence is permissible even if the talk is much about nothing

Last night I had a conversation where I opened the girl and asked if she was there to see the dj, (dieselboy) she said "no". Then she voluntarily told me she'd never heard of him, asked if that was him, etc. So basically we floated the conversation full of a lot of jibberish to, "where are you from?" And then that opened some more conversation. She had a friend to her right who she kept turning to after she would answer my question so I walked off, but about 15 minutes later she came and stood beside me and we started again.

I would assume by your name and face pic you are a female, and I assume you ask b/c you approach men. I'm not real big on women approaching men b/c it's the backward way of people meeting. but I would think some of them are going to be nervous either b/c they have no experience with women and they are thrilled you are talking to them, or they do but they aren't interested in you.

Like ninja first said I've a few stock questions / games.

- random questions - superhero power, cats or dogs, fantasy or fiction, action or comedy, earliest memory, ever do that "pornstar name thing, you know your first pets name followed by your mothers maiden name or vice versa, mine is ... . Any of these are able to give you something to move on too, poke fun of, answer back! Or even allow you to game with push pulls or c&f.
EXAMPLE: HB- if I could have any superpower in the world I'd be invisible. You- Why, so you can sneak in to the mans changing room and check me out or do you just want to go rob a bank?

- News question: whats going on locally or globally? Opinions, facts, the omg did you see blah blah

- Games: I saw it on here somewhere "5 lies game" but the one I always do is 2 minute truth. Tell her she has 2 minutes where she can ask you any question no matter how personal and you'll answer 100% true. In order to do this though you better be able to talk a lot and think fast. If you keep your answers short she might get the confidence to ask questions you dont want to answer. If you pad your answers out when that awkward question comes up you can go I'd love to answer but your 2 minutes are up...next time maybe?!

This is my biggest fear, having subjects/long talks/interesting things to say/talk to women about.I can talk to any girl I like but then run out of things to say. The problem is getting more dates/talking about same subjects. lol I'm big failure when it comes to this.

I approach 0% fear/AA now, open decent, and have a few interesting topics,fun things. I am still stuck in interview mode so I can get to know her, I don't tease much. 10 girls 4 months 2 numbers[1 pending after a mistyped number] 2 dates, working on it to get better....

I really like those questions, but how do you create a setting where you are able to ask those? Randomly blurting them out whenever there's an awkward silence seems desperate.

Actually changing subjects is the easier part. There are plenty of ways to do it. I think I'll create a new thread tomorrow with several different ways.
