I don't very much enjoy the job I have now and I have an opportunity to get this other job. So, I have a family member that works at a fancy hair salon and she told me that they are looking for a male receptionist because the last one just got fired. I'd be getting paid the same amount, but I don't wanna DLV if someone asks me where I work and I say, "a hair salon." I mainly want this job to improve social skills (receptionist) and there are tons of HBs there. What do y'all think?

You're over thinking it. It's not about DHV or DLV. It's about where you'll enjoy working more.

You're going to be working with a relative, that's a bonus. You're getting the same pay. So no big deal.

And you get to interact with hot girls?? Bonus

When girls or people ask what my dad does for a living I tell them he's a hairstylist. And honestly, they think it's really cool.

If people ask you, just say you work at this fancy hair salon. They'll ask you if you're a hairstylist or whatever and you can just say, I'm just a receptionist for now, but being a hairstylist does interest me so I'm keeping my options open.

I got an ego, I'm tryin' to control it!!
