If i just found the community and want to read and learn i would do things backwards! In other words, i would start with the new concepts/materials, and then i would look at the old material... I do believe every method may work, i did a post were i got killed called everything works. However things evolve, it is not the same a car from 1970 than a car 2012 get it...It is not the same a beeper than an iphone... So if were new i would start with the new material, keep in mind i would do this while going out on THE FIELD, and getting experience:

Models (Mark Manson)
60 yoc ( 4 book complete system)
Vin Dicarlo (Attraction code)
Sex God By Rose

If i am frustrated and about to give up maybe "Minimal Game" by sleazy

Now if i need to learn the fundamentals i still like David D Double your Dating, the psychology stuff and the fundamentals are good.

Then i would read "The Game" Just for entertainment and to understand the community, it is a fun read, and there are some fundamentals in there that are good to hear about... 3 second rule, bitch shield, onitis etc...

If you still want to do mm, then i would do mm, but i would leave it for last. Now i understand mm, is for afc and for guys that have no clue, an easy short cut, i get that, but i really believe than in the long run it would do more harm than good, just my opinion. This is not a natural direct vs indirect argument, i think, those arguing are silly, the same with the naturals vs routine game... Most naturals have routines anyways(they just don't know they do)...

I do believe the problem with game, is that no matter how much you want to deny it, there will be a girl that eventually, YOU WILL WANT TO KEEP, she will get to you, a lot of you may say no, cause it has not happen to you yet. If all you know is mm, you will be fucked guaranteed....

what is the new rsd material?

A lot of my non pick-up lads are asking about learning this stuff when they see me do some of it when we're out. Typically I'll suggest the following -

1 - Watch Season 1 of The Pick-Up Artist, read The Game, watch Keys to the VIP

This stage is a typical introduction, generally builds excitement and enthusiasm, shows game is possible and works, and is generally inspirational.

2 - Read a more how-to style natural game book and a how to style canned game book

Something like Magic Bullets for canned game and maybe one of Gambler's products for Natural Game.

3 - Get onto Way of the Superior Man, Dale Carnegie, Tony Robbins etc

This stage is the most important probably, as it takes the new PUA from focusing solely on development on that area into developing in many others, which reinforces success with women in the long run as well.

It's more or less the path I took and I think it works well for a lot of people.

Well I remember my start. Heavy in to David Dangelo. I still listen to his 77 rules an dig his interview's with Pua's. Set my head up right. Then slipped in to David Shade an that help me get laid. Then from there some Carlos Xuma and the alpha male lifestyle. Lots of trial and error and I never took a mistake as a bad thing but as a learning tool.

Oh and listen to the Game on audio. Connected to it but that was after I understood some things and took it for entertainment value.
