Hey guys. I'm in my university's drumline and I wanna bag this flute player (this one time...at band camp...). I teach a local high school drumline and I put together this plan to get her to come with me to their home game tomorrow night. Analyze this knowing that I've had small-talk with here a few times already. Any feedback would be appreciated!
Me: "Hey there! Got any big plans tonight?"
Her: -Insert generic plans-..knowing her, I'd assume she has homework>
Me: Really? That's how you plan to spend a Friday night?! (slight neg)
Me: I've got a better plan. After practice I'm gonna go take a shower and get ready for the game at the HS I teach at. When I'm about to head out I'll shoot you a text so you can come with me and meet the awesome kids I teach. Plus, tonight's middle school night and you'll get a kick out of seeing them trying to play along with the HS band!

I do not currently have her number. If she says yes, I had planned to walk away then suddenly "remember" that "Hey, wait. I can't text you if I don't have your number!". I felt this would be a good tactic because I would not be ASKING for her number. Let me know what you think. Be brutal if you must!

This is actually quite good imo. I like how you tell her what you are going to already be doing, then tell her you are going to bring her along. That's money.

I would alter the number acquisition part slightly. If she says "Sure" then just bust out your phone and tell her to put her number in it. If she's like "Well, maybe, I'm not sure, we'll see...blah blah blah" Then bust out your phone and tell her to put her number it it. Then tell her you will text her later to confirm. The beauty of that tactic is that either way you get her number, even if you don't get the date.

Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking about this plan all day yesterday and ways to keep it as smooth as possible. I like your addition to the number part. That way I could run still some text game even if I don't get the date. Good stuff!

Field Report: Plan worked like a charm. Due to short notice, she couldn't come tonight, but she did show interest by asking when the next one was and said she'd go with me then. I got a positive reaction and, thanks to puaninja, her number.

Ok, first things first, you know that you have a problem and you have admitted to it. Dont thnk you are alone in this. There are people in there 30s who are still virgins.

Ok here we go. PUA works no doubt about it. WHat got me into it was the book the Game, this in itself is very cliche, but whta can you do. But the book alone will not do alot for you. YOU have to want it, and you have to put alot of time into it. You must enjoy it too otherwise you wont put the right amount of time into it.

There is alot of Info out there which can help you alot.

As for the anxiety problems, Im not so sure I can help you with this, as I never had them.

But what I did read somewhere was to just interact with people not trying to pick them up, but instead helping them. try volunteering... Anything which invloves you socialising with people.

Lastly, get that idea of the prostitute out of your head. It wont work, it will do nothing for you and in the long run, when you are hanging with friends(girl) and yee decide to play drinking games, then the question "WHo did you lose your virginity to" comes up, you will feel bad man.
