In all honesty, I can only come up with two reasons,namely, the guy lacks the confidence to go for a haawty. But secondly, and this is why LOTS of guys go for ugly girls is because usually all the hawt girls aren't the wife-material/girlfriend-material the guys are looking for. Plus, maybe she makes him laugh in a way other girls doesn't. No judging

I personally came into PU just to screw with all the girls and get massive experience from this before I finally slow down and find a suitable girl to start a family with.

I think it stems from low self-esteem/self-confidence. And sometimes it's a matter of sexual desperation and convenience.

I worked at Quiznos a long time ago and their were two young girls I worked with. One was a 8 with an amazing ass, and one was a 2 with bad acne. I was an AFC and had low self esteem. I still don't fully know why I did it, but I asked the 2 out instead of the 8. To my credit, I think part of it was to make the 8 jealous and lower her self esteem. Funny thing was, the 2 actually asked me why I would ask her out instead of somebody like the 8. And then she declined the date, probably because she was skeptical about my intentions. But you see, there are all kinds of weird reasons guys will go slumming.

See, I've never been able to get with anyone below a HB5, because I would honestly prefer to go off and please myself than go to bed with some horrible sweaty fat girl.

I know I am in the minority though, because most dudes will get with whatevers left if they're bored on a Saturday night or whatever, and just chalk them up as yet another conquest. All girls counts as one, right?

Some people just do not like being alone for any length of time. They'd rather have an ugly girlfriend who they know they have no future with, than no girlfriend at all. That, too, is kind of understandable.

I'd rather just go for 9s and 10s all the time and maybe settle for an 8 as a last resort. I'm totally not there yet, but that's my goal anyways.
