When you're after a girl and text her often to say hello.....goodnight....I was thinking about you......that kinda stuff, as opposed to sitting back and trying to make her chase you?

I didn't think so

Ahh, depends... how often is "how often." Everynight? The only female you should be texting that much with "hello", "goodnight", and "I was thinking about you" is your girlfriend.

I hope your not just texting it like that, all bland and generic.

What's her good qualities? Does she laugh a lot?
"Hello there giggles"

I wouldn't say goodnight unless you have been texting a conversation. End it with "goodnight".

"I was thinking about you"... well, the quality of that is subjective, and depends on the girl, and I wouldn't use it very much. If it worked, remember that and word it differently next time. If it hasn't been working I'd drop it completely.
