Do you really need to know her name? I think this is only necessary if you plan on seeing her again. If she doesn't ask, then why bother asking her?

If she says goodbye to her friends you'll probably hear her name then but if you don't then I would wait till after the act and take her phone number (whether you want to see her again or not) then ask what's her name for your phonebook.
