I often sarg in places alone (no reliable wing) and it’s regularly to or from work to try and hone some of my routines and plays. When I see a target on the train/coffee shop/in the street or what have you I often find that they have earphones in and see quite oblivious to their surroundings. My question is, is there a way around this so I can use my routines and plays? Or should I move on? Does anybody have any similar problems like this?

Cheers,

I'm a newbie here and I've only done a few daytime approaches. But I have stopped a lot of women to ask for directions and many of them would simply take their earphones out. I think you should simply just approach them as normal and disregard that they are wearing earphones.

What I sometimes like to do is go up and start talking to them and motioning like I'm asking for directions or something like that, but in reality I'm just moving my lips without speaking. Then when they take their headphones out to hear what I said, I do the same thing and continue to just mouth the words without saying anything.

Sometimes they either get the joke right away and start laughing, othertimes they seem confused and I'll tell them I was just playing around and smile in which case they laugh back....either way it's a solid open because I haven't had anyone act bitchy or negative after it.

Oh man..Iv been playing the silent lips opener for the past year... DO NOT!!! Try this with anyone who looks stupid or bitchy.... Remember.. If she doesn't laugh then blow her off imediatly or problems can happen
