Hey guys,

I've been faffing about with PUA for quite a while now, without ever really committing to it. I've read a few books and have, at times, been able to apply some of the stuff with relative success - relative to my own previous form.

I go through phases when I seem to be able to apply it better than other times; but inevitably the time comes when I'm completely back to square one. Now appears to be that time again.

I was hoping that someone might be able to point out even a basic roadmap for how to go about learning this; for this site itself, and in general. Are there certain aspects I should look at in sequential order - inner game first, along with openers, possibly; then what next; or a different approach altogether?


I've read the Gunwitch method before, and like the idea of that natural style; I don't think I'm the kind of person who would learn off too many routines verbatim, but I will follow certain guidelines. Are there other authors worth reading?


I will look through the site on my own as well, but some pointers to specific posts would be great to concentrate the learning process.

I recommend you check out Carlos Xuma. The only way you're going to get better is by putting yourself out there. Carlos has some really good material on how to overcome approach anxiety. But remember, stocking up on knowledge alone will do you no good.

Let me ask you this, Why do you find yourself back at "square one"?

Are you meeting someone and then dating them for a littlewhile and then when it ends you find yourself having to start over again?
