| I have a feeling she's given me signs of interest [or I am misreading]. I know for a fact that she knows my name, and ever since I asked for her name, she's been more talkative with me.
Probably nothing to read in to, but in the afternoon, when I walked in, she did say, "Hey Kyle!"
And when I switched up my drink, it really took her by surprise.
I've asked her for her favorite drink, and she did tell me.
Now, come the next time I go back, I plan on doing something like:
All her responses are assumptions
Me: Good afternoon Amy!
Amy: Hello Kyle !
Me: I'm feeling adventurous today - why don't you make me your favorite drink - that black tea?
Amy: [some response]
Now, one of two scenarios I hope to happen
1. I compliment her, "I never noticed your smile before, but you do have a bright one". I'll wait for a response, then ask her "What time do you get out? I'd love to grab a drink with you."
2. Just ask her what time she gets off, and ask to grab a drink with her then.
Both times I will ask to grab a drink, and close that drink grab [if she says yes] with getting her number. Like, "I had fun. I think we should do it again sometime. Why not give me your facebook? or your number, that works too."
Now if she rejects the offer for drinks,
1. I have a boyfriend - Oh what a lucky guy! makes me jealous - have a good day?"
2. No thanks - "Well, worht a shot. Offers still on the table if you change your mind - just let me know. [smile]
TLDR: Is planning out the whole game plan bad? Do I compliment then ask her for drinks, or just straight to drinks?
