Isolate in this situation

Guys,

This weekend I was in a low-energy bar with some friends. We all sat outside.
On the otherside there was a girl I found cute and wanted to gain rapport with.

But it was hard to make a connection and get fliry because, she sat far away, and all friends were nearby.

Any ideas how I could deal with this next time?
