So last night I went out to sarge solo at 2 local bars. The first one I went to was kind of high-end and was mainly people on dates or married couples, but there were 2 HB9's working behind the bar.

When asked by one of them what I wanted, I didn't really look at her to seem disinterested and ordered and Old Fashioned. A few minutes into my drink, I noticed an HB7 working as a server. She was kind of cute, but definitely didn't compare to the girls working the bar. As soon as she was near me, I called her over (the HB9's noticed). I told her I just moved into town and was hoping she could tell me what kind of nightlife is around here (this is a total lie, but I've always had an accent which helps). After a minute of chat, she seemed interested and gave some IOI's but it was the HB9's I was after.

2 minutes after the HB7 walked away (she was really busy) one of the 9's opened up to me and asked what I asked her. I engaged in Push-and-Pull for a few minutes and she started to show some interest. I stopped talking to her for a few minutes while I watched the game on TV, then ordered a Bombay Martini, extra dirty. She complimented me on my drink choice and it kept going like that, if I stopped talking, she would try to reopen the convo.

I decided to leave it at that and go to another bar where I could game on a patron, not the bartender. She stopped me on the way out and introduced herself. Didn't number close but it atleast went well.

I went down to another bar, Memphis Cafe, and it turned out to be a total hipster scene so I assumed that cold reading and the Cube Method would have an effect. I immediately sat down next to an HB8 who was with a guy friend bigger than me so i pulled the "If i weren't gay i'd be all over you." I was totally embarassed to even say it but she was immediately facing me. After a few minutes of chat, I used the cube method and she was TOTALLY into it. It was the first time I used it, and expected her to think of it as totally strange but she didn't hesitate on any of the answers and started showing IOI's. Her group was leaving right after I finished, but i number closed her then headed home.

All in all, got some good practice, tried a few new things, and got a good number close. Im sure I'll be going back next week to try to number close the barista.
