There's a hot girl who sits near me in art class. I don't like her romantically but I'd like to be friends with her for reasons of social proof and she seems cool. I'm pretty talented in this subject and she's always asking me for help and stuff. I sometimes carry out conversations and make her laugh. Even though I sometimes talk to her and make jokes, how can I make sure to absolutely develop a rapport and not just be her bitch who helps her. Like, what can I do to start convos and make her want to respect and be close to me. First post, so friendly opinions are very welcome.

This might sound pretty simple but it's not. Girls respect a guy who respects himself, meaning a guy who sets standards for himself and doesn't violate these standards for anyone at anytime. In practical terms this would be not sitting next to her just to get her approval, not helping her out when you are busy and have something more important etc.. Also make her do things for you also for ex. when your walking with her and you have a book in your hands ask her to hold your book for you while you take something out of your pocket. A hot girl is just a human being like the rest of us. So just act to her like you would to your friends. Also game other girls while in class. When she sees that she will respect you and most probably even be attracted to you.Good luck!
