Showing your interest is fairly easy. Most guys won't go out of their way to talk to a girl unless he wants her, and girls know it.

Isolating isn't always easy, you might have to catch one on near her locker or whatever.
And if you know certain girls all hang out together it's a bad idea to try and game multiple girls in the same friend-group. They will talk and if you are hitting up more than one they will decide you are a sleazeball.

Talk about hobbies, pets, if she seems bored with your talk about football and shit try a different topic. You know they are bored when they have the one word answers.
"yep" "oh" "cool" Or if they just go silent altogether.
Girls like to talk, if they aren't talking you are boring them. ZzZzZz

1) How do you isolate.
Go with a wingman and make sure you engage the whole group, get your wingman to distract and start building rapport and comfort with your target

2) Show interest after you build comfort. Be playful and funny first to spike their BT.

3) Texting have a set of routines that you can fall back to. Focus on talking abotu what YOU are interested in, it will be more natural.
