Posts: 44 | | I'm sure everyone has been to at least one bad party at which it's 90% dudes scheming free beer, and 10% girls who are getting approached/hit on by all the guys in the place.
For someone who has decent but not amazing game, is this a workable situation? Can these girls be picked up when there is a 1 to 10 ratio of girls to guys, and all of those 10 guys are trying to get that 1 girl? I found myself in this situation last night, and kind of shut down and didn't even want to start trying because I deemed it a futile situation.

Posts: 44 | | Right. I guess a sausagefest is a real game killer as it requires you to go against some of the basic foundations of pickup. Instead of approaching multiple girls until you get a hit, you are forced to be needy due to the scarcity of the situation. And it is a confidence killer if you tell yourself that you failed with all the girls in the room when really it is the fault of the situation, not yourself.
