Right now I have the opportunity to get two tickets to an event which is two weeks away. They are very expensive and to get them I need to get them now. I want to bring a girl who I have just met but is it unwise to ask her so early? does it put too much pressure on us?

I can see two things going wrong. Firstly what if I strike out between now and then and am left with 150 dollars worth of useless tickets. Alternatively what if she shacks up with another guy between then and now (it is impossible for me to be around her 24/7 after all) then I'll either have the option of bringing another guys girl on a useless date or I'll be forced to eject and will be again stuck with 150 dollars worth of useless tickets.

How should I play this?

Don't take her out on such an expensive 1st date. She will need to be your legitimate GF and i don't think you should do it in 2 weeks. Take her some place else
