There is this thing that I have noticed in my own personal social life which I have gotten to calling second best syndrome and it refers to the girls with whom you feel comfortable in social situations.

When I reflect on all of my experiences with women I have noticed that I have never gotten with the most attractive girl in the room. Instead I get with another girl who while still often extremely attractive is always what I would consider to be second best.

When I talk to these girls I am natural, funny, charming and usually successful. They pick up on my confidence and the attraction is often instantly mutual. In contrast when I talk to the most attractive girl I am awkward and clumsy and generally revert back to the AFC I was in my teenage years.

In practice this is not a problem, I am not complaining, merely noticing something I find Interesting. It has little to no effect on my love life as I still get more than enough girls who, under different circumstances would be the most attractive girl in the room and are almost always far more attractive than I am myself.

My question is, is there a term for this? Or have you experienced it yourself at any stage?

They are all "Just" girls, equal in every way! Each of them has a vagina and you will enjoy being inside of it. You are becoming "situationally AFC" because you put a high pricetag on the better looking girls.

What percentage of guys do you think get to fuck the hottest girl in the room? Maybe 1%. And the reason is because they either have a lot of money, status, good looks, or solid game.

Unless you consider yourself in the top 1% of guys, then you won't be fucking the top 1% of girls. It's really that simple. I mean, sure, you can try, but at a minimum you'll at least need some solid inner game if you want to F-close HB10s.

I disagree...You enter any situation expecting failure and that is 9/10 what you will get! Every person guy/girl I speak with is no better or worse than me. I treat them all the same, it is how I handle myself that has allowed me to pull the HB10's I have been with. I actually prefer HB8 because they usually dont have as many "self image" issues. HB10's are soo rare that most of us will never actually meet one, unless we base it completely on "looks" because a true HB10 has everything, looks, smarts, career, ambition, sexuality, personality, compassion, etc...But everyone should strive for their HB10 atleast once, just to prove that it can be done.

Agreed, and I'm actually going to start trying to build up the courage to open 9s and 10s. My inner game isn't quite there yet, because my outer game is weak. Based on my experience, lesser girls will give you more attention, especially if you are more attractive than they are. Whereas hotties will brush you off the same way they do to all the other guys who constantly hit on them. The only way around that is solid game.
