There is another revolution happening in the world of seduction.
The first revolution came in 1970 with the release of Eric Weber’s book “How to pick up girls!”. This breakthrough teaching instructed men in the first concepts of staying aloof to build a woman’s interest. Within the first few chapters, Weber uses his famous line, “Oh I didn’t see you there” to raise a girl’s interest at the museum.
The second revolution came with the emergence of Ross Jeffries’ Speed Seduction and the Mystery Method. Around the world thousands of men became hooked onto the psychology of female attraction. “Underground hypnosis” and stealth techniques became the weapons of choice for horny young men out on the hunt. The infamous October Man Sequence was dubbed “dangerous” because it was guaranteed to have a girl throwing her panties off within minutes of meeting you.
I believe a third revolution is happening amongst the community of men dedicated to living fulfilled lives.
You see it in Forum posts. New members are being criticized for spitting pick-up routines without any clue about how to deliver them.
Boot camp sales have decreased since 2011.

Mystery has passed on his reigns to new blood, like Top Cat, Artisan and Hydro. They seem like great guys. But they’re missing the flair and “legendary” status that famous pick up artists like Hypnotica, Herbal and Tyler Durden carried.
My only hope is The 21 Convention, a 3 day seminar gathering for young men around the globe teaching them Dating, Entrepreneurship, Health and Wealth. The 21 Convention’s creator and CEO Anthony Johnson is a man I greatly respect. Like me, he teaches that Lifestyle Design is the secret to attracting women into your life. His own story involves quitting his job and selling his possessions to start T21C—an adventure that got Anthony mentioned on The 4-Hour Work Week.
The hype around “pick up artists” over the past 5 years began to pass the moment when people began to realize that their Casanova idols did not use lines, routines, or wear glamorous clothing to attract women. They just had a lot of confidence backed by a great lifestyle.
That’s not to say men like Mystery and Neil Strauss have not helped a lot of men in their time. They did, including me. But over the years I’ve learned that they’ve confused many more… Here is a post I recently read on the Venusian Arts website.
Question: She told me she doesn’t want to have long distance relationship. But she tested me with “Oh, you won’t have long distance relationship?”
Should I have seen this as an indicator to ensure that she did consider having a long distance relationship with me? Or maybe she’s just asking for fun as she’s curious about how I would response?”
This is a perfect example of over-thinking as a result of reading too many books attracting women. I’ve read hundreds of questions like these: men who think they understand how to attract a woman because they read a book and not because they have real life experience actually doing it.
This is why I’m calling for a revolution in the dating world. Someone needs to help teach young men coming of age the correct way to attract a woman. Not just what sells the best pitch.
Learning to attract women is a skill set every young man should learn. Most of our fathers are too embarrassed to talk about this stuff with their son. Who then teaches a teenager who to sweep the prettiest girl off her feet? Perhaps that’s why so many are sucked into learning this.
