So im shy and it sucks

Girls are attracted to me and i know it. For the most part i can read if a girl likes me by her eye contact.

This weekend i went to the bar and got so many chances to hook up with girls or just meet them and i didn't know what to do. Im tired of women coming on to me and me not doing anything about it because I'm shy.

What do i do when a girl comes on to me or tells me I'm hot or sexy.

What are some steps you guys took to become unshy and steps you take when you know a girl is attracted to you. I'm willing to learn please teach me.

I am an incredibly shy introvert, I used to be the guy who would stand at the bar nervously holding a beer and watching everyone else have fun. Awkward silences were a huge part of my social interactions and I was just generally terrible at talking to new people and there were some hilarious moments where I was either clueless to female advances or just didn't know what to do. I just thought that sex would happen to me one day because I am pretty handsome.

The thing is, there isn't any kind of magic bullet that will make you a fun, exciting extrovert. I will always be a quiet, introverted guy, but I have learned to turn it up a notch and go and meet new people when I need to even if it makes me feel nervous or anxious sometimes.

My advice from my own experience is that you have to take baby steps, and you can start by doing stuff that seems pathetic compared to the exploits of Mystery and Style. Go and ask a girl (or any stranger) for directions, or if she has the right time and focus on smiling and maintaining eye contact. If you have a job that requires public interaction, then practice making small talk about ANYTHING, even if its the weather. It's hard to just jump in the deep end when you're as shy and introverted as I was/am.

I much prefer an honest, direct approach with women these days but when I first made the decision to improve my life, I had to go indirect first just to get used to social interaction with strangers (many of whom were beautiful women) which took me horribly out of my comfort zone. Use indirect approaches as training wheels until things feel a little smoother and you feel confident.

You will have rejections and they sting at first and make you feel unsure of yourself, especially if you lacked a support network like this forum as I did when I started out. But you will learn not to give a fuck, set out to get rejected if you like, to get used to it. But along with these rejections you WILL have positive interactions where people smile and take a liking to you, and will have fun conversations that will make you feel positively elated at the progress you're making.

Just getting out there and doing stuff like this, even if it is horribly awkward at first, is one of the most positive things you can do for yourself.

If girls are coming to you already attracted, then you have a nice headstart. I think you should practice qualifying the girl. In a sense you're saying "Ok you like me, and I may like you, but I'm not sure yet. Let's find out".

Read up about qualifying. You want to ask her questions that get information so you can give the idea that she is earning your interest. For each thing she gives you that does earn some interest, you give her some praise for it. So it's like she's slowly winning you over until suddenly "You know what, you're actually pretty cool. You're different than other people."

Ideally this would not be just an act but really happening.
