Hey guys!

First off my name is a bit weird because I do not really want to use my normal screen name on these forums. I'm not trying to be unfriendly with it or anything like that so just ignore it haha.

So I ended up here because, like most people, I started reading The Game. The goal for me is just to build up a bit more confidence and eventually meet the right woman. I am 20 years old, I have had girlfriends and things like that before any of this. So there is a bit of background!

OK so last night I went out with the intention of using some of the openers on some girls. Some of my friends were out including my... I suppose you could call it wing. OK so I just tried some basic stuff...

I approached a 5set on the dance floor(relatively crowded dance floor but not packed). I said "Hey girls my friend over here is going on a blind date tomorrow, got any advice"(I got this line from the openers part of the forum). One replied, "Yeah, fuck off" so I was like OK... maybe these things happen. Oh and all these girls were FAR from really hot also though I cannot remember exactly. I approached a 2set, and this time they were quite hot... like maybe an 8. I opened with the exact same line and this time the girl just turned her head and flat out ignored me, like I was not even there.

So those were the only two groups I really approached, but usually throughout the night people will open on me in some way. So I tried out negging and that kind of thing on one particular girl who kind of approached me and that worked well until some AMOG came over who she knew and literally just stole her from underneath me.

I am kind of concerned about the girls I approached though because as far as I could tell I approached quite well. OK, so my body language probably was not perfect but I made sure I had good posture and that kind of thing. I did not approach from the back or anything like that. I would not describe myself as unattractive. Probably above average in terms of looks, so I am looking for advice on what I did wrong with these girls. Is it maybe just because I approached them on the dance floor and started talking? So maybe this would work at a bar or something?
