I need some help on what method or way to ask a girl out for drinks, etc (or just a way for her to meet up with me) that I met about a month or so ago. Here is a quick background story:

I was out with some buddies about a month ago having dinner and drinks and I ended up meeting a beautiful girl on her birthday celebration. As we were leaving for the night, we ended up taking bunch of pictures with all of the girls and she wanted me (and my buddies) to continue drinking at another venue with them, but I couldn't because I was in a relationship. She was asking my buddies if I was "single" and I told her I was and we went on our way. That night, she told me her name and I found her on social networking site and decided to add her as one of my connections along with a simple message saying happy birthday and hoped that she had a good night. She responded back within an hour thanking me for adding her and that she had a good night. I then responded with some small talk and singed off by telling here to take care - that was the last message between her and I and I haven't contacted her since then.

Fast forward a month (things have gone south for me personally) and I'm thinking about hitting her up to either go and do something one on one, or to meet up for drinks, etc.

Any suggestions on how to ask or what to say as she certainly seemed interested at the time.

Thanks for the tips. I think I like either:

"Hey i wanna take you out and do some fun stuff, be ready at 8"

"Im going to this club this weekend and thought it would be really fun for you to tag along"

From there if she agrees, I'll ask her for her phone number.
