Looking for some pointers and advice.

I'm generally not awful at my beach game but I certainly feel I can improve.

My one advantage is being more aesthetically pleasing since I do workout and keep in shape but in no way do I feel I should use this as a tactic to get women.

What I tend to do.. try to round up a few people to play volleyball and whenever I see any HB trying to walk by I ask them whether they wanna join in for fun. This works at a decent rate but not the greatest. If I'm swimming in the water or coming out of the water and I see a group of HB's standing on the shore I'll try and make some convo as to why they're not swimming or make a comment about the water being not that cold, etc. Again, doesn't always have the same effectiveness.

I tend to see a few HB's laying and just tanning but I've never felt "good" approaching them. I can't even think up of a decent canned line that might get me somewhere.

Regardless, would like to hear some of your tactics (Yup, said that) and idea's. I'll definatly be trying to up my game at the beach since imo it's a great place to try and score.

The only success I've ever had at opening on the beach was:
"Hey, do you mind watching my stuff while I go in the water. I'll won't be gone long"

Then strike up casual conversation when you return and are towelling yourself off.

Not a terrible one either. You'd have to pick a good spot to set up your towels, though. Or hope some people set up around you.

ABSOUTLEY use your body to your advantage.
You care WAY to much about what some random girl on the beach thinks of you. Instead of thinking "what can I do to be good enough for her" you should be thinking "I wonder if shes interesting enough for us to click."

Put the pressure on her, not yourself.

love the leaving the gear idea, trust builds trust. It's the same as a lock-in prop in the game.

All I want to advise you dude is that the opener is simply 'just' for opening. Stack forward immediately. Sometimes I'll actually cut girls off as they are replying to my opener. It's not important. What is important is that you start vibing with them straight away. Adding value to the conversation, and not sapping them of energy, by asking questions or leaving awkward pauses.

All guys really fucking good at the game only REALLY have one thing in common:

They're very talkative

Good point, I'm forgetting to treat this as any other pickup situation. I guess with my lack of experience and never attempting many pickups during a beach situation I'm kind of looking to change things up.

Definatly going to try and approach with the same mindset and treat it like a regular approach. Cheers man!
Oh no, I definatly understand that my opening is not going to get me a golden ticket. I was uncertain of myself whether approaching girls while they're just laying on their towels and tanning would get me anywhere or simply when they walk by and how to approach them than. As Warped put it, I'm putting too much stock into what they think and should focus more on the "Who gives a fuck/Carpe diem" philosphy.

I wanted to see how some guys have approached and "pefected" their beach game routines by starting this thread since I've read very little on this type of SPAM. Around the forum you mainly see school, club and sometimes mall threads popping up.

I sarge at malls and coffee shops. I recently came up with my own opener that's probably been used by someone before, but I thought of it myself.

I have a good friend who I can picture clearly, and see often, I also see his girlfriend often. Picturing these two people is important, because it helps build sincerity on the delivery.

Every set I've opened with this opener has opened well. I use this at locations where it is common knowledge that people have been there for a while, library, coffee shop, beach. (Haven't tried it at the beach yet) It works a charm, just stack.

"Hey, have you seen my friend, he's Kiwi, tall about 6ft with his girlfriend, who's blond, about half a ft shorter.. txt'd me about 6 or 7 mins ago saying they were just around this area"

standard reply, "no", "um.. no don't think so". Haven't struck someone who's actually thought they'd seen them yet, but I imagine that would be easy to transition from.

Next you wanna say "well you obviously haven't been here very long"
*throw in a body rock to convey dis interest, she will always reply here, cut her off and stack forward into your story, cold read, or whatever.

I'm a naturally talkative person, I can stack forward at the drop of a hat.

Solid advice guys. I'm going to look into incorporating some of these idea's next time I'm at the beach. Unfortunately I'm in Canada and spring is starting to set it's eyes and soon winter will hit here. Although, a couple of my friends want to go to Cuba/Mexico/Costa Rica for New years break so that'll be my next opportunity to try and fine tune my beach game. Unless of course we get some crazy weather here in the next few weeks.
