LOL - So I get some comments here and there on my videos some gracious some brutal but this one I thought I would post here for all you folks.
"Alpha males are not fat. you fat man"
Honestly- Yes I'm fat and if you got a problem with it I don't care... Why should I? Who the hell ever thought this concept of "Alpha Males are not Fat." and why???
Alphas can be fat, tons of offensive linemen in the NFL as well as some others, Notorious BIG and Big Pun were both huge men considered Alpha.
You're absolutely right Vic.
Hell, I could take a look around me on an average night out and take note of what is happening around me at any given moment, you'll see below average guys from all backgrounds, whether its a weight issue/a less good looking male/or any other imperfections a guy may have, still interacting with a good looking HB while the typical AFC 'pretty boy' isn't going to get a look in and can't even begin to understand why its not coming to him on a silver platter.
I'm not going to knock it because I think we were all there once, just there are a select few actually choose to take charge of their current situation to influence their reality, then there are the kind of guys who look for alternative ways to feel better or more significant in their existence, usually putting other people down.
There are the kind of guys out there who can admit to themselves they may have an issue, but still put persist, put themselves out there on a regular basis and can run some game with reasonable success - All because they most likely came to terms and made peace with their bodies a long time ago.
I feel this topic is a double edged sword - I'm a fairly slim guy and I used to hide under baggy t-shirts in an attempt to make me appear larger than I actually am, it was totally counterproductive, made me appear smaller than I am and looked like I was hiding myself away, which also reeked of lack of confidence.
Women are far less 'highly-strung' about a guy's physical looks - Look at what society expects of women when it comes to vanity and fashion, men never usually have to reach that same expectation to get noticed.
Because of this, women can take hours to get ready for a night out, yet a man could go through the same basic regime in less than 20-30 minutes.
As long as a man can present themselves well, such as good grooming/hygiene, takes a bit of pride in their appearance and have the positive attitude to match, looks are less of a deal to women as long as you're not a totally different species or not of this earth.

While a lot of bouncers are muscular a lot more are just very big men with some obesity to them, they are normally fat but you would consider them alpha...
Bouncers tend to be larger males as a stereotype because it comes with their territory, they have to be able to wrestle with some lager-oaf which may be ejected out of the club they're working for, which can require some strength and unfortunately, sometimes resorts to brute force or even violence.
This goes hand-in-hand with their uniform though as they are presented and perceived as a person of 'authority' in that environment and in most people are conditioned by social compliance to respect a person just because they have a uniform.
I agree a very small minority of bouncers take this authority as a power trip to feed their own ego, take it too literally and try to have this hard-man image about them and it can intimidate people, but the majority of them are regular human beings, are usually great source of conversation and can even help you gain some social proof from them if you give them a chance - They are just there doing their job and stereotypically are associated with the more serious aspects of that line of work which is to protect the reputation of the owners club, so like any other job they are also entitled to have a little fun and a bit of banter with the customers to make their night at work that bit more enjoyable and pass that little bit quicker, all that and you mould the door staff to your own advantage, so its a win-win situation.
