why are you thinking about all this so negatively?, you have absolutely no way to validate any of this besides conjecture
you want him to call you, yet you are not willing to call him?
you want him to pay attention to you, yet you are not willing to let him know you want this?
he's just a guy, not a mind reader, it's pretty evident by all the way he was acting that he is just as confused at your up and down behavior, as you are about his
give him a chance and actually communicate with him before you go jumping to conclusions
