I kind of need a third party opinion on this. To keep the story short, I messaged a girl on Facebook I met on a cruise a few months ago in an attempt to reconnect who I thought was living/currently in another state. Turns out she's currently a lot closer to where I live and basically made generic plans to meet for dinner and/or drinks week following this. Even managed to get her number.I text her Monday evening asking "how does dinner Friday sound"? I wanted to try to ask in my own way without sounding needy or some shit like that,play it cool I guess. She texts me back Tuesday morning saying without going into specifics that she has to call me at some point and tell me what's been going on,didn't hear from her for the rest of the day.

So yeah,from a third party opinion, am I hosed or is it too soon to tell? For the record, I didn't even originally bring up dinner or whatever,she did.

well she said she'll get back to you at some point.. so i don't think you should sweat and if she doesn't.. you won't know what's going on in her life that caused it.. we won't be getting all the girls we asked out anyway.. on to the next i guess

the key point here is to not let one girl's actions affect you.. things are unpredictable and there's only so much we can control.. letting such matters get to you will lead to nothing.. unnecessary i would say
