Okay!

So here's my question. I started at a new university yesterday. I always wear nice clothes. I'm NOT walking around in a 3-piece suit, but I feel like I dress a step above the people here for sure (Versace, D&G, Express). I've been working at clubs for the last 3 years, so ALL of my outfits are upper scale (button ups, nice jeans, dress shoes).

Everyone here seems to "dress down" (school shirts, t-shirts, sleep clothes). I know that last thing I want to do is run "cold approach" game in college, but I also don't want it to seem like I'm whoring for attention (peacocking).

I used to go to a community college where I seemed to receive a lot of compliments (which I do in general) on my attire, but here the people actually seem rather under dressed (and not in the good way).

And I'll clarify again, I dress "nicely" not extravagantly. But might I be standing out too much? Does it appear to be "try-hard"? Let me know what you think!

Those outfits is 'you'. Don't dumb yourself down because other people care less about their appearance. Yeah certain people might think you're snobby but when your friends (people who actually get to know you) learn that you work at clubs and that's why your wardrobe is like that, they'll learn to respect you.

Tonyking is on the spot. I know someone who always dresses like in the picture above, everyone laughs at him, calles him spoiled, a momaboy etc. Not nice.

Dress nice, but dont dress to nice. It has to have a somewhat casual look too.

I just wear a lot of skate clothing with funky colors. Like right now am wearing a pink shirt. You stand out somewhat which is good.
