Pickup is pretty complicated.

There's a lot of important things that you need to do usually in a small amount of time and in different situations.

One of those things is creating a connection, or rapport with women.
I don't know why it's important nor how to do it and I think it will help in the long run.

If you don't bother,you won't appear as a mate for her rather you will be seen as the guy to hold her purse while shes at the bathroom.

Don't learn her background while trying to connect this will be destructive as you could lead her to recall ex's or other trivial instances,rather when you connect either let the topic be neutral (like the venue your in) or about you,or just be the one steering the conversation,if bad points come up,drop it and move on as if you didn't say anything.

Yes you can be mysteriousness or you can be the guy who talking,don't be the guy who says hello and then makes the situation awkward by being weird,just go with the night and with her mood.

I have seen that when you mention their work,woman tend have many points to talk about ,just use that as a way to move in,all you do is ask how the day at work was,there will be some issue she'll want to release.Being a stranger she has the power to say anything and you won't know who shes on about.
