I've always been an activist and preacher of natural game. However, I have been re-reading The Game and am kind of leaning more towards using canned material.

As of late, I haven't been having a great deal of success (plus, I've kind of stalled on the 30 Day Challenge, which I WILL continue with) using my "natural" game. I usually just wing it, but it's not getting me far at the moment.

The way Style just whips out the lines and gets the girls is very inspiring and builds motivation. The way Mystery is in field, he's just so smooth. THAT is the goal of all this, to be utterly smooth and coherent with my exploits. To walk up to any woman I find desirable, give them my spiel and watch them tumble for me.

Gentlemen, I would just like some opinions on this.

Will going from natural to scripted game destroy my future ambitions of being a natural? Is it intelligent to just swap from one to the other?

Note that this would be mostly for night game. During the day I will attempt to complete all the challenges in the 30 Day Challenge.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Jesus, natural game is the way to go, and if you're not getting results, then you're ass at it and need to post your sticking points so others can help you.

I'm not saying I'm an experienced PUA but when I first started, I was sort of a hybrid. I memorized stuff, a lot dealing with body language, how to react to certain behavior etc...

Sure, I got girls to be interested but once I began a LTR she didn't realize it but she saw through me. It was impossible for me to throw canned lines and behavior 24/7, I thought that since I "had" her, I could be myself. And...I lost her, looking back now I can see she was only half interested in me because the canned stuff helped me build that attraction but my natural side destroyed me.

So I stopped doing canned and more towards natural and it's fun. I still remember the basic on canned stuff which helps when I'm talking to a new girl but I switch pretty quickly into natural so she knows what she's getting and it's working well so far.

I've only recently really gotten into game. I wasn't a slouch and could get girls just by being myself, but I'd like to know what I am doing so I can do it more often.

Did you find the canned stuff overly helpful? Or just not worth it due to the girl loosing interest?

The thing about canned is that in principle, it is very useful. It's like setting up the board to play chess. But once you're in the game you realize that there are some rules you need to break in order to win. That's when you go natural, when you realize you technically "shouldn't" be doing this but you're going to because you naturally feel like you should and 8 times out of 10 you'll probably be right because canned material can't prepare you for everything, you need to improvise too and when you improvise more than you rely on canned you start to build your natural game.
