Whats up everyone?

I'm new to all this PUA, and I seem to be needing some help improving my game.
Now this may be a little long to read, but please if you have any helpful tips i would really appreciate it.

Well here it goes: i go to high school parties and i'm not afraid to approach a girl, its just that i can't really keep an interesting convo going. i usually approach a girl with a "hey whats up? im _____ . and then she will reply hi im _____. now after that i'll ask you enjoying the party? or something of that sort. I also understand that if a girl isn't interested then move on. I know it takes experience, even if i fail i always tell myself, at least i've gained some more experience. but i don't understand how my friend does it. He goes in for a girl and its likely that he'll get her that same night. i think he is more of a natural in this. Although i do seem to see that he can get some sexual tension going on between them. The high school partying im talking about, is about getting a girl and doing her that night, and if she likes you then she will give you her number. When talking to a girl i'm not really into all that weird phrase lines that i see on here. I'm not trying to offend or anything but i guess i just haven't found out my certain type of game. You could say i'm more of a shy guy.

So if anyone can help me here with getting my game up with i guess you can call it one night stands? (as in getting her that night) as well as keeping the convo interesting to the point she will keep talking to me and i can get with her.. And do all these funny pick up lines really work? some just seem to be a little too embarrassing to say, or is it just me?

do the cube or the 5 lies game talk about wierd stuff turn it around like you two are 1 world and the rest of the party is another world
tell her you are gonna find her a boyfriend and then point to the ugliest guy in the room watch all RSD videos you can find them at pirate bay

Im in HS to. Do any of you guys have advice for HS day game? Do the PUA techniques work in HS or is it all social circle game? As in the only way to DHV is to be part of the cooler social circles?
