Okay so there is this girl i got with at a party a few weeks back, i have met up with her and things went fine apart from that she had to to "get a train to her friends" after a few hours, this was actually true so she wasnt bullshitting me. In the last couple of days she has been taking 3+hours to reply to texts and being rather blunt. My first reaction to this is a w/e forget but she is slightly different and i dont wanna leave it just yet. I need a way to get her interested but at the same time not making me sound like a player or like i am using "lines" from the internet. Also i have no idea if she is actually talking to me cos she is interested or if i am one of many guys she is talking too. I have asked her a few times when she is free next week but she says she is working and doesnt know when she is free yet? Is this just a simple way to get me off her case or is she being genuine? She responded with to my text of "Do you actually want to meet up again?" with "Yeah course, why not" ... Need some advice guys as she is clearly being difficult.

Let's start with the obvious: she's not different. You just think she is because she responded to your advances. That may technically make her different from the women who don't respond at all, but it doesn't mean much. I was just having a conversation with a girl where she said she would give her number to guys to be nice, but have no desire to talk to them or hang with them again.

The easiest solution is to find other women. I'm not telling you to delete her number, but if there are three other women you're talking to, you won't care if it takes her four hours to answer a text. You'll just see who else is around and hang with them instead.

Every girl who gives you her number or gives you the time of day isn't necessarily interested in you. A lot of girls give out their number to be nice. (I mean, honestly, how much of a bitch do you have to be to say "NO!!!!") A lot of girls will make polite chitchat on the spot, but it doesn't mean you're now officially a part of her life.

Take an honest shot at it. If she doesn't seem interested, that's because she isn't. Move on.

Thanks for the responses, thing is she has shown an interest? Like if she just gave me her number to be nice why would she agree to meet me? And she has to get a train to do so...? I have asked her recently and she says she wants to meet again but said she didnt know when apprently cos she doesnt know when she is working? Do you reckon i wait it out and see how it goes when i meet her?

If she IS actually interested, the worst thing you could do is badger her with texts asking when she's free. Some guys even read this site and get some stupid idea about being "alpha" and then demand that the girl stop wasting her time.

Just be fun, easy going, and patient. What would a guy who has a ton of women in his life do? (He'd say "cool", ask out another girl this friday, go to a club and pick someone up on saturday, chill with his boys on sunday, and pursue his life's passion on monday. Then he might check in on her on tuesday and ask how her weekend went.)
