Ok so being the underage rAFC that i am (im 16 btw), im quite limited in terms of places to sarge.. What also doesnt help is my slight approach anxiety which tends to go away at night :?: (im mainly having a lot of trouble following the 3-sec rule). Anyway enough background info - i was at the mall the other day with my wing and it was quite crowded and the few 2 or 3 sets (within our age range) that we managed to see, were either walking too fast to stop (iv tried opening quite a few fast-walking HBs in the past but they never seem to wanna stop and chat) or were walking the completely opposite direction to us.

Does anyone out there have tips on opening in busy, crowded environments where a lot of the time it may be difficult to open a moving set? Also, in general iv noticed that its a lot easier to open HBs that are working in the mall cuz they seem to have nothing better to do and it often makes their day more enjoyable.. any tips on this would also be great. and if anyone out there knows of other good places for ppl my age to sarge, thatd also be great.

personally I think trying to open moving sets reeks of desperation, perhaps just saying 'hi, nice [something]' and attaching no expectation of her stopping is ok.

What about food court areas where the targets arent moving.

Bookstores.

Music stores.

I'd recommend using the search. There are a good number of posts on mall game.

There are also a decent number of lengthy posts on the subject in my thread, which you can see a link to in my sig below.

Opening walking sets is more difficult, especially if they are walking in the opposite directing also in a large group, because then you have to stop them and have something intresting, without across as to desperate. Or just give them a IOI as they walk past and see how they react. I'd you if you do this choose smaller sets. A lad i know went chasing after this girl walking and he looked like a right idiot, it was way too try hard and she did'nt wanna know. Just be as casual as you can we doin this.

I am in the UK and you would not be underage here, though you do have to be 18 to get into most bars and clubs in the UK. But many bars will allow 16 year olds in if they only drink soft drinks.

By the way when I was young a good place I found to sarge was youth clubs. There were a couple of very big ones near where I lived which were open from 7pm to 10pm and addmission was only 10pence. About 30 pence in todays money, 60 cents in American money.

Try to find if there are any youth clubs in your area, they are a bit like junoir nightclubs as many have discos in them. By the way here in the UK but I don't know about the USA some adult nightclubs have junior nights on a Sunday for 14 to 17 year olds which start at 7pm and finish at 11pm.

By the way big public libraries can be a good place to sarge too when they are busy for young people in their teens as a lot of students often go their to study and look for research books.

Yea in the U.S. it's very hard to do anything unless you are 21 or older. I know around me there is a dance club that is 16+ but dance clubs can be a very difficult and noisy place to use PUA techniques. My suggestion is if you are at a mall try to open while in stores, much too difficult to open moving sets without appearing awkward. Also, the food court or any other place where people are seated is a great place to start a conversation.

Personally I love walking sets they have always been the easiest for me. Do I feel needy while doing it? hell no I feel badass. They key to stopping walking sets is a total commitment and knowing that they will stop because you are they type of guy that people listen to when you speak. I like badboy's advice on walking sets check it out.

I have done a few walking sets. Very busy shopping streets are good for this because they are so crowded especially at this time of year that people have to walk slow and you can also get quite close up to your target without it looking like you are stalking her and just open with casual conversation even commenting how crowded the street is etc.

I have done direct on moving targets too. Such as walking a little in front then turning my head back a bit and saying; "Excuse me,(slight pause, wait to see if the woman responds) I know this sounds a bit random, but I was just having a look around here and then I spotted you and thought you looked so nice and cute that I just had come and say hello to you and tell you I would to get to know you better."

This works best with a pre-opener on a puased target like when a woman stops to look at something in a shop window. For example; "I think that looks good too, but too expensive, its nice to look and browse though isn't it". Target: "yes it is" etc. More idle banter. Target walks off. PUA runs after her and says; "Excuse me but I just have to tell you something, I think that you are really, really nice and would like to take you for a coffee or something".

Also when doing moving targets the best ones to open are the ones who are walking leisurely not the ones who look like they are in a hurry.

Being direct doesn't mean being needy. I think you might do better with saying it in a way that's a little less needy. Chasing after her is uneccessary and undesired. Remember make her chase you. Being direct is all about being ballsy. Don't say excuse me either that's asking her for her attention. Sure she may accept your going for coffee, but you are letting the choice be up to her as if she is leading. In fact you probably shouldn't ask for anything. Demand it. A better way may be hey, I find you really cute, and I want to get to know you better. Let's go get some coffee. Let yourself be more sure of yourself and your decisions. You seem to have a loving way of doing things which I'm sure will make you very succesful.

For stopping walking sets a simple hey is enough. You must demand their attention, and be fully committed to getting it.

another video showing exactly what I'm talking about.

thanx a lot everyone - some very helpful tips on day sarging here..

my mall-game has improved heaps in the past 2 weeks and im mainly sarging in clothes stores and music stores now cuz they're filled with HBs in my age-range. although im gonna go try out anutharound's suggestion on stopping moving sets now as that is one of my sticking points [btw that was an awesome vid bro, cheers].

stonecastle ill definitely start sarging public libraries from now on - i just never realized the potential there. unfortunately here in aus, those underage dance parties and youth clubs that u mentioned are very rare to come by except for in holiday time [which is now :D] and theres 4 coming up in sydney this jan so that should be awesome practice for my night-game.

Dude, you're 16, you still have the greatest venue at your disposal, Highschool/Secondary school. Did you already go through the pile of girls at school? lol

hahaha yehh the thing with that is.. our skool hasnt got THAT much potential and all the fine HBs (8+) are either taken or extreme-christians (and my game isnt that tight yet).
but i sarge chicks from other skools that i happen to meet in train/malls/where-ever.. but besides its holiday time now until february so i need more venues to sarge at so i can expand my skills as much as possible this holidays before school begins.
