Hi, so I just started trying pick-up, I´ve been getting better, haven´t got to a kiss close (by the way I´m 17) but I have made so much progress with talking to women and kino escalating and stuff. But I think I really like this girl I met yesterday, she´s a HB9 that is what I always thought I would like in a girlfriend: she´s beautiful, she is fun to be around and she loves the same things I love. Yesterday we walked arond talking about games and movies and stuff we both enjoy and she was following me, in fact she went to the bus stop at my university to wait with me despite having her car and nothing to do in school later. So when she actually left after half an hour, I asked for her phone number and she gave it to me, in fact she looked happy about it. So I waited until today in the morning and started texting her, she replied to every message but she took like 3 hours literally to reply. Now I don´t know if she´s interested and is trying to look busy (I know she saw the messages because we were using whats app) or if she really doesn´t want to talk to me. I reeaally like this girl and I would appreciate a lot if you guys told me how to proceed.

She may be playing a game with you or you maybe you are overthinking. Do you ever take 3 hours to respond? Probably when you work, when you are at school or whatever. Don't think too much about it because people are busy sometimes but if she keeps doing it, it might be a clue about her interest about you. I think you can really gauge her interest by what she texts you.

I think a general rule when it comes to texting is that you should wait just a little bit longer than she did. If she took 3 hours, why don't you take 3,5 hours to text back? Of course you should vary the time you take to text back because you absolutely don't want it to look like you are voluntarily waiting. The whole idea is to look a little bit busy.

Finaly, are your texts interesting? Anyway, just give her a chance and look a little busy (don't make it too obvious!).

As NorthBoy said, your are definitely over thinking, try not to get stressed out and lose control, take care to not to over extend the text game, call her after some days, and try to meet up with her again.

Again don't over think, and try to make your texts come back with an answer to keep it going.

So, we go to the same university, but we have no classes together, tomorrow she has an hour and a half of free time at the same time as me. Do you think I should call her or text her? By the way I´m thinking about saying "Come by the cafeteria, I´ll be there". What do you think?

Sounds good to me.

If she takes time to answer, act like it is no big deal because you are with people, you gave a social life and it doesn't affect you. If she answer quickly then you can take a couple of minutes. If you have an hour and a half I would personally go somewhere outside the campus so it looks more like a "date" instead of a casual meeting and the cafeteria lol

I would do that, but my university is like a safe haven surrounded by a horrible place, so I don´t think the plan would be very good lol, but maybe after meeting with her I could ask her out to the movies or to a starbucks or something the next day.
