Does the "friend zone" exist?

Is there actually any such thing as the "friend zone" if a PUA is capable of seducing ANY woman? Is it simply a defense mechanism, or a safety wall, from women? or is the "friend zone" real, and permanently un-escapable?
I've read some good quotes and lines on how to move away from a friend zone, but I'd love to gather some various opinions on whether it's real, or just something women use to feel superior and dominant.. anyone?..

In my opinion there is no definite answer to this question. I would say in most cases there is a friend zone especially if the two people involved are in that situation for a long time e.g years. If it is just a few months then I would say the friend zone can be turned into attraction.

So yes and no, depending on the people involved, time and ofcourse changes around these two people that define the circumstances of the situation e.g a breakup, a bad time, a failure, a good time

It all depends :)

The "friend zone" as I know it isn't exactly a place, but a situation
You can escape it, but it's basically to the point where you didn't create sexual tension and she doesn't see you as a sexual person and now your stuck in her mind as that type of person that's a good "friend" but not boyfriend material

I don't think it exist, its either we flirting/fucking or I stop talking to you. You loose a lot of man points from women if you stay around and a lot of guys seem to just accept the verdict from the girl and stay on. You have a choice, walk away or stay, watch her being chased and laid by other guys, then after all the years/used you get the leftovers. Walk away if she wants to be just friend and treat her like any other girl you want seduce into bed.
