I'm not sure how to approach this situation, any helpful advice is HUGELY appreciated .

An HB8 that I have known for a while has shown consistent IOIs for some time. Last Thursday at 2am, she texts me the following bit:

HB: Supsuppppp
Me: Yo! Wassup still sick?
HB: Yea
Super sick ._.
Still smoking?
(15 minutes later)
HB: Yo
(5 minutes later)
HB: Nvm I will talk to you in person I guess. U always just read my bbm and not reply

Me: Sorry, was cleaning the condo w/ roomates, open house tmr
And u can see it as read??, the orange dot was still there
HB: Yup

I see her on Friday at her best friend's birthday party, but wasn't able to talk to her at all since she was running around taking care of her friend (who got really drunk). I talked to some other girls there though, I'm pretty sure she noticed.

I then text her on Saturday, and then on Sunday. Nothing really happened:

Me: Yo whats my favourite bag of germs been doing today?
HB: Hahahaha
I was studying
Just got home
Supsup smoker?
Me: Hahah
Taking a quick break
HB: From?
Me: Didi u know jason (our mutual AFC friend) got a gf??
Work work work
HB: Yea
I knew it the next day cuz I see him quite often these days lol
Me: Ooic
I knew they had smth after the trip but damn
Jason changed so much aft summer
HB: Hahahahhaa
I think he's still the same tho lol
He just got the gf that's it hahaha
HB: He used to talk abt it a lot lol, proud
So how's the other co-prez doing?
HB: Hahahahaha
The other co-prez's doing fine
Besides being sick and behind for school
Life's really good
Me: Goood
Gonna get bck to work
Hurry up and get better soon!
I need someone to hold my bags. U know I still haven't bought those shoes yet

It's been 2 days and she hasn't texted me.

What should I do now? I don't want to text a third time to try to set up a D2, and although I'm sure I'll see her again in the next month or so I'm not sure when that will be.

When you text have a reason behind it.. Don't just text for the sake of it.. Keep your texts short, witty and to the point. My advice to you is man up and call her.. Talk to her for a bit and then tell her to meet up with you somewhere.. From there you will have to try to find what she is looking for.. If it meets what you want go for it.. I'm kind of tired so can't give you more details but you get what i'm saying.. Good luck
