Hey guys,

I've known about the game for quite some time but was never really into it. However, I decided, through many interactions where I stumble over my words, that I need to do something to improve my social standing.

Today was officially my first day of "training". I tried going out today by myself thinking that it was going to be easy to go up to people and chat. I was dead wrong. Starting out is tough to bust through social anxiety.

I have a friend who has been through what I'm going through now and he said the first couple days of hooking sets is the hardest but after that you notice signs of confidence building in you. That's my number one goal for the next month: building confidence.

Today was a fail.

I look forward to learning and push my way through into an improved life.
