Hey PUA's,

I'm a 19-year-old from Vancouver, stepping into this art of pick-up. I have knowledge in body language and psychology, and I'm also a musician. I'm articulate, confident and smooth with words despite my average appearance (going to work on the whole peacocking thing once I get the money). I'm currently reading the Game, which I'm sure most of you have read. Any other book recommendations would be great, thanks.

I have a quick question.

When introducing yourself to a girl, what do you guys find the most effective way to bridge into the attraction stage?
Do you shake their hand? Lean in and say your name into their ear? Do you place your left hand on their elbow for 3 seconds as you do? I've read in body language books that this creates a positive image in the other person's mind, however I'm not sure if this is the setting. I'm beginning to believe it's more in a business setting. Advice is appreciated, Thanks.
