Hey ya'll, girl who I am doing really well with and seeing this weekend asked me what the appropriate attire was for a bar we're going to. I told her "casual but it'll be chilly outside" so she said "great jeans will be perfect!" and I asked her, jokingly,

"Do you look great in jeans?" (to qualify her)

She responded with, "I look amazing in jeans! Haha!"

And I said, "Great! Then jeans are perfect! "

She responded with, "I have to get approval from you to wear jeans?"

I'm pretty sure this is a sh*t test, and she's not saying that in an upset manner, but I want to respond to this correctly. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.
