I have just read a few posts on hair touching.. but Im still not sure about this scenario..

I can almost guarantee that 9.5 times out of ten that I look at a girl (even for a second) and then she sees me looking - she will touch her hair. It could be putting it behind her ear, brushing the front for a second, adjusting something on her hair. It will always happen with a few seconds after she sees me looking and she wont necessarily be looking at me or giving any other (or any) IOI's to my knowledge at that moment.

So is this always an IOI?.. just a subconscious nervous thing?..

yes, it is a IOI.

It's an IOI but it does not mean shit unless you can interact with her and sexually escalate. IOIs are just signs of basic physical attraction. You can still get blown off most of the time if you fail to pass her compliance tests.
