Here's the situation: I met a girl Saturday in a bar and she didn't really talk to anyone. She later told me she gets a huge kick out of all the guys staring and trying to hit on her. Well she said hi to me since the back patio was crowded and her and her friends had to sit down pretty close to me. She said she wanted to introduce herself since I was so close to her.

We seemed to hit it off alright, we talked a lot and I got invited back to her house where they had a small gathering and we went late night swimming. I know.. drinking + swimming = Always a good idea right? We were flirting and touching a lot. At one point she was hugging onto me and wrapped her legs around me. The problem is I didn't escalate or go for a kiss or anything more.. GAH...

So later that night we slept in the same bed and we didn't do anything, we kind of just slept. The morning when we woke up, she seemed a little distant and while she was still friendly and had no problem being near me, she didn't talk too much. She didn't try to get me home as quickly as possible so that's a good thing, I ended up staying until about 6-7 PM and then since they were going somewhere, that was the only chance I had for them to take me home. I figured if she truly didn't want me there she would've taken me home as soon as she woke up or way earlier than that.

I'm just a little confused because she didn't really talk a whole lot to me and we didn't do any flirting then. Sure, I'm sure alcohol played a little influence behind her flirting during the night but she wasn't completely trashed, she didn't drink that much. So when she did take me into town, I brought up talking to her again and she asked if I wanted her number.

So here's where I'm at. I don't truly believe in the typical (wait three days) scenario. I think she might forget about me and wonder why I waited so long to text her. HOw long should I wait?

In my particular situation, what do I open up with? What do I text her? I'm kind of pre-occupied with thoughts on her and I don't want to send something completely desperate or stupid.

I just gotta say...WHAT!! wtf why did you not fuck her??????? were you on your period?

You can give any excuse why you didn't fuck her, but girls love when you justify your shit.. It don't matter..
