So I messed up last night and I'm still kicking myself. I'm sure you will want to kick me soon too. Driving home and a friend calls tells me to come over he needs to talk so i do and when i get there he is drunk. Apparently him and his girl just broke up. So he wanted to go see a movie. But none where playing at the time so we went out to eat. We talked and what not. I dropped him back off and left. I needed gas so i puled into the nearest gas statioin. Payed the clerk. Pumped the gas and then went in for my change because i didnt pump everything i payed for. While picking out something to drink. This HB 8 walks into the place all by herself.
I had no idea what to say. I wasnt nervous or shaky or scared. I just had no idea what to say.

So help be appreciated. What should i have done? What should i have said?

you could have said hello, how u doing? these simple openers are a good way of calibrating whether or not someone has any attraction toward you.

depending on her response you can determine in some part where she is coming from. for instance a one word reply with no eye contact from her could mean she is not that interested (although it could also mean she's shy) whereas a more detailed repsonse with some eye contact and a smile could mean she's into you (although it could just mean she's super friendly).

basically we are gifted with the tools of language to guage the inner feelings of others. in this sense we are all telepathic.

what does this have to do with fate though?

The movie never happened, he lost his keys to the apartment so we looked for 20 mins. He ordered like 4 different things to eat and ate them all. Then chatted at his apartment for a minute and told him to stay safe. Got in my car looked for a certain cd and then drove off.

If i would of spent 5 more minutes in any one thing we did. or even a minute here and a minute there adding up to 5 mins. I would of pulled into that gas station as soon as she was leaving and my blown oppurtunity would of never happened

Given it was 2am. Of course when i was driving home i thought to myself you should have said. Whats the story?......taking the bait she woud have said what you mean? and i would say its 2am on a monday morning got to be a reason why your still out driving around. Whats your story?

well, it doesn't really matter that the movie and all those things didnt happen because you didnt make your move on the girl so if fate does exist it wasnt meant to be on this occasion.

i believe that everything happens. not necessarily for a reason but it happens none the less. its up to you whether or not to make something of it or not. if not this time then another will certainly pop up.

life is like a sweet shop. its there for the taking. as long as you'r willing to pay for it.

Yeah i realize it wasnt fate for us to meet. But then again one could argue we make up our own fates and every choice we make opens a new door to a new ending in your life. Last night i choose the door to my left and talking to her would of been the door to my right. Now my life is on a new path and only God knows where it goes. Maybe within my life the choices I make behind one of the doors i have yet to open that girl will be there and maybe she wont. Guess I'm big on philosophy and wondering about life. lol........It is funny though when you think about it. The chioces you make really do lead to new paths in your life. New experiences and new adventures. Kind of like the movie Yes man with jim carey. You ever seen it? probably one of my most favorite movies.

It was 2am and i was exhausted so my brain and mind werent all there at that moment. Probably why i couldnt think of the simpliest thing to say like. How come your up so late?......Good learning experience though.

What i take away from this is. No matter how many times your up to bat. If you dont swing the bat you'll never get a hit.

Basically if you dont say anything, You'll never get anything.

My mind I think was looking for that perfect pick up line. I should of just said whatever and seen how she would have responded.
