It doesn't matter anyways cause I looked for the midterm and noticed that I took that class with a different prof

Her: I'll probably need it for the final though [I'm guessing she meant the book]


I am aware that I have done nothing to escalate the conversation anywhere, so I was wondering what can I say that will make the conversation go into a more aggressive/sexual path rather than a 'friend zone' path?


The text messages weren't all that bad, however they wasn't attraction building at all. It was just " lets get together as a group and have some fun". The way you go about getting a girls numbers has a lot to do with how the way the interaction will take off. If you tell a girl " Hey you and you're friends can hang out with me an my friends go dancing" it give the appearance that you have no real interest in the girl you are simply seeking to have a good time. And every text message you send and that she sends will revolve around that same theme. Its about getting the phone number by making it clear that you have romantic/intimate interest in her; you have to be clear about what it is you want the number for. That way when you do text the girl, it is no surprise why you are contacting her. She knows what you want, you are just contacting to tell her when you want it and have fun rapport building conversation along side of that. Sure you are probably more likely to face rejection when you approach with clear intentions however, you will be dealing with a lot less flakes and waste of time. The only girls that will be giving you there number will be the ones with genuine interest in you. And isn't that what we want after all?

Also, you shouldn't be texting the girl with a mindset similar to " I'm going to send 4-5 text and then try and get her out" it should be more of a " I'm about to show this girl the time of her life through these text messages, she'll be dying to hang out with me" You aren't asking her for anything; you are just shedding some light on her and letting her know that you have a opening that she would fit perfect in. Similar to a job, a job isn't necessarily contacting you to ask you to come in for an interview, the job is letting you know that there is an opening( for you're dream position) on tuesday at 3 o'clock. Would the job give two fucks if you don't show up for the interview? No, because they know that there are a lot of people after this same position. You are the once missing out on an opportunity :)

I'm aware that there wasn't attraction building at all so far and I'm aware that sending 4-5 textmsg won't do the trick. I guess I just need practice with this texting fuzz, cause I have noticed I play it very safe just so I dont fuck it up. But I've been working on changin that. Nevertheless I think the last msg she wrote was her showing interest in me. Cause she could just get the book at the lib, but instead still asks for it for the final.

So on Friday she texted (I just copy-pasted the last msg I wrote on my original post):
Her: I'll probably need it for the final though [I'm guessing she meant the book]

On Saturday I decided to respond to the text she sent on Friday
ME: Haha ok, but you'll probably have to earn it :P

I was trying to change the environment of the conv. into something more flirty/aggressive. She hasn't responded to me since then and I don't know if I said something wrong/ or said it the wrong way.

Should I just wait? Or if not, what should I text to get out of this (possible) hole?

Background: Met her at the Library where I work. She's a patron. Opening line: Good Morning. She: "Good Morning (says it in a flirtatious manner and smiles at me.) 20mins later she exited DVD room. I asked, "No books" She: "No, I'm a DVD girl. Me: "Then, How can I help you?" She: "Maybe next time?" Me: " Maybe you can give me your number? I'm sure there's something I can help you with?" She: (she smiles) What's your name? Me: "Michael" She: "What's the eyepatch for?" Me: "I always wanted to be a pirate." She: "You're cute." Me: "Actually, I wear it six hours a day to strengthen the muscles in my left-eye." (this is true). She: "Do you have a pen?" As she's writing I say "So, what are you doing tonight?" "You want to meet-up for a drink?" She: "Hell yeah! "What time do you get off?" Me: "6:15" "I'll text you when I get off." She "Okay." (or something like that.)

Texts starting around 6:45PM
Me: Hi J****
...it's the pirate from the library ;]
She: Hey how u doin
Me: Doin good ...just about to eat
Ya still want to meet up for some drinks
She: Rain check I woke feelin like shit. Sorry

Me: Was that a mystery "guess what I'm thinking text"?
She: Lol dropped phone

This was two days ago I was going to text her later today to meet for lunch ...is that the right play or should I do something different? Plus, what's your thoughts on the above texts?

Just phone her up bro this texting is getting you no where so change it up and take a different approach. Whats the worse that can happen?.... Now whats the best ?.. ;)

I have learned to never end text messages by announcing it; you just simply stop responding and she is left wondering if you ever will respond at all or if she said something weird. It keeps the mystery and allows you to pick up the conversation whenever you want. Like I told the above guy, just call her up and have some solid conversation. It doesn't sound like you have established a connection with the girl at all. It was just a quick pull, take care of that first :)

Ok, so I saw this girl I've had my eye on for a while last tuesday. It was the last day of finals, and I still didn't have her number, so it was great that I saw her and got it, because i wouldn't have heard from her all summer otherwise. Before I even said anything, she rubbed my front teeth with her thumb (something she's done twice before during random encounters with her) and asked me for my number and said we should hang out this summer. She remarked about how the whole process was awkward for her and requested to just take my number down. Tried replacing the screen on my phone the same day, but fucked up and broke the new screen. So I couldn't activate an older phone until I found one later that night and missed her text. Anyway, explained myself and got her number today. conversation went like this:

me: heyy
her: meow
me: so i take it you're a cat person? (knew the answer, but we had it in common so i figured i'd try to start a conversation out of it)
her: no, where would you get that from?! i'm deathly allergic
her: kidding i love cats
me: yeah i could tell lol. i love em too. what's your cats name?
her:
her: it's [catsname] actually
me: ahh, i want to meet her someday :)

Aimless conversation, but I felt like I should establish some sort of connection before I asked her out. Felt like I didn't have one already because our conversations in person were fleeting, with her coming up to me for a few minutes, doing something memorable, and then basically running away before anything was actually said.

She didn't text back after that, so I don't really know where to go from here. Would like to try to escalate things though.

You're last text wasn't really anything to respond to, you just made a statement and it wasn't at all interesting so she probably got side tracked and forgot about it. What you really wanna do is get invited to her house because you want to see HER, and maybe take a look at the cat why you're there.. If i'm not mistaken ? :) I would of said something along the lines of " My cat is always horny, is you're a boy or a girl ?" .... " Oh man, this has to go down!"... " Should they go on a date first or just get right to ravishing?"... You see where I am going with this? That way the conversation is energy charged and fun. Make sure you're text messages are FUN! FUN! FUN! FUN!!.. Once again, read every text before you send it and ask yourself.. " Is this text message FUN!? " If you answer is not then don't bother sending it.

Just start a new thread with her man and make it FUN! ;)

So ive been dating this girl for about a month now. 2 weeks in we had already had sex. We've had a great connection and are really into one another! The thing is, I'm kinda getting the feeling that she may be "over it". Lately, she will stop responding to me, either texts or FB chatting. Then out of the blue, the following day, she will hit me up with a good morning, or something to that effect.

I guess I may be so used to us always talking and saying goodnight, or keeping the conversation alive, but I really do feel like she just might be bored at this point...For instance, we were in SD, she came to my concert, and on my way back we started texting (she stayed behind)

Me- Your probably tired of hearing this, but thanks so much for coming to my show! You=awesome
Her- Lol of course! I had a lot of Fun! BTW....I finished our Mimosas and now im a little tipsy
Me- So not only awesome, but a champ!
Me- Gah! Traffic!
Her - I bet Where are you now?
Me - Right outside SD
Her - Damn, almost there!
Her - Drive Safe!
Me- You to! What time are you taking off?
Her - Im not sure yet, Prob later tonight!

A few Hours later

Me- Made it home :-*(we do the kissy face from time to time)
Her - :-*
Me - And now the gin drinking continues

That was the end of the convo, which stopped at around 730pm. The following day she hits me up on FB Chat with just a "good morning" and we continue to talk a little.... Maybe im looking into this to much, maybe not....any advice?

Hey, you may be over thinking the whole thing, however, I notice that you push but you never pull and this will effect you're attraction and seduction. If you push push push, she will go go go, you get that? And also, try not to fall into the routine of " We do the kiss face from time to time" that not a seductive way of thinking. "We", when did you guys become a couple? Don't fall into those routines, things have to stay light footed and fresh.

haha I honestly felt you text thread hilarious, aimless, but hilarious. Now would be the perfect time to level this all out with a phone call. The mood as already been set, if you see this soon enough, phone her up and keep up you're quirky witty state. Just add a little direction to the whole thing; you want to invite her to be a part of you're comedy show and not to just buy a ticket to watch the show if you know what i mean ;)

The only point of me texting this girl was for self amusement. I was really bored at work.
How do I get her to invest more into the texts so I'm not doing all the work??

Its very challenging to solidify a connect through text messaging, just messaging is just light, fun, and can be used to build attraction. This is why I suggested you phone her up and have a conversation for about 30-45 mins via the phone. Bring that same exact energy and intensity you did in the test messages to an actual conversation and you're as good as golden ;)

First off, thanks for the push and pull suggestion! After practicing some of it on her, we have kept the text rolling....now for this...I totally ignored her all day, and she calls me up...shes doing laundry and seems to be having trouble. The next day we start chatting a bit more and....

Me- I assume you mastered that washing machine last night? haha
Her - Haha yes!
Her - Thank god!
Me - I knew you had it in ya!
Her - Hahaha did you doubt me?!
Me - Me? Never! You seemed to have everything under control :)
Her - Lol

I always hated the "LoL" response....in general whats a good way to deal with these dead end responses?

Maybe you're question should be, "How do i avoid receiving boring "LOL" text messages all together?" :)

You're last reply really wasn't anything to respond to, you made a close ended statement. However it appear you have the entire thing under control; let go of the idea that you have to analyze every little thing. You have already slept with her, the attractive energy is there now just keep progressing forward and you can't do that if you keep stopping to think :)
