Funny thing happened yesterday while I was trying to pick out a bday card for someone. While I was looking I noticed this girl came to the isle, picked out a card, left for a few mnutes then entered the isle from the other side right next to me. I would catch her starring at me and just could not think of a good approach (newbie). After she left the senerrio played out again with another girl, except she came back 3 times to the isle. When I would move to the "get well soon" section she would follow. Then I would move down to the "congrads" and she would be close.

What kind of opener would work in this situation? It would be interesting to go back and see if this would work as a different place to meet girls!

I was in a similar situation at my local CVS. Great looking girl, again kept catching her eye and what not, when I finally got the marbles to say something to her.

I went up to her as smooth and as confident as could be and laid a corky line on her:

"I've got some meat here that's 'Best if used by tonight"

Of course, we weren't in the frozen food isle or at the supermarket (that's the corky part ) and she was shopping for a bereavement card as her grandfather had just died.

All in all it would have went really well, I got a smile out of her, the timing was just....off. I have to say using these off lines has worked for me on numerous occasions.
