I've had tinnitus, mild high frequency hearing loss since 1996--I had it under control from 2003 to 2011 using Tinnitus Retraining Therapy..Then I went to a concert in 2011 and it came back..Now lesser events sucha s clubs bring it back even worse--I am back to my old 1996-2002 nightmare--bad tinnitus and limits as to where I can sarge..I also have other disabilities, limits, and injuries--this sucks--harder to meet girls/less places, less I can do with girls/friends/people and the louder tinnitus has wrecked havoc in my quality of life...I had to give up running and biking due to my damage to my vestibular system--right now my ankle is sprained and I am on disability from work--can barely walk....

I'm more concerned about the dangers of top 40 shit music on my mental sanity than the volume of music on my eardrums.

hi guys,

quick question

In a club, I have noticed music to be very loud. In fact, so loud that it has scared me of my health. Am Ijust over thinking this situation? Have you guys ever heard of people who get hearing problems or tinnitus because of going out too much to clubs????? ANd if yes, is there a way to prevent this????

Thank guys for the feedback, catch you later

Yes i get complains that when i speak i am too loud, and is from many years of clubbing, i may be losing my hearing... :( get earplugs, the tiny ones that cannot be seen

I have Tinnitus too, since about 1,5 months ago. I've had special earplugs for music made which should decrease the volume with 25 dB. I went out for 1,5 hours on friday and my tinnitus worsened, I think I might never be able to do night game anymore...
