Long story short, I've just finished highschool, she is 1 year younger. I have spoken to her on the hallways, but nothing personal, small talk only. I added her on facebook some time ago naturally, but didn't say anything to her since. She does have a boyfriend though.

Now my question is: How to get to know her better without getting into friend zone OR getting the"I have a bf" line? Anything can help, like what method of aproaching shall I pick(message, chat, status, etc) ,what opener shall I use(was thinking of an opinion one on music, we are both metal fans)and anything else you guys might consider helpful.

Not really helping much. You see, unfortunately I am very picky and I just want to know the girl, and won't try to break her up with her guy if she's not for me. Out of the box, she seems to have all the rare qualities i like in a girl, but who knows what lies inside?

No, seriously. You are putting way too much time and energy into this one girl when in reality there are thousands and thousands of girls out there for you to choose from. It sounds like she is not interested if you're only talking on facebook (do you even talk to her regularly?). I'd hate to be the guy to tell you this, but I've gone through this shit myself. Ask her if she wants to get some coffee or something:

her: "what?"
you: "just pick one. red or black?"
her: "uhh idk blah blah"
you: "Wow you're not very good at this. Lets try again, hot or cold?"

etc... The idea is if she picks black and hot you say:

"coffee?"

or if it's red and cold:

"milkshake?"

You get the idea. Just invite her to do something with you.
