I was thinking about at all the chicks I’ve been with over the last year and how almost every girl I’ve met for a “date” slept with me that night within about two or three hours. Forums of the pick up community are filled by stories of guys who struggle to convert phone numbers and meetings into sex, with descriptions of long seductions that take weeks and months, stories I can’t relate to at all…. Weeks? Months? What the hell are they talking about… sex is easy.

So I looked back on my “dates” and tried analyzing what exactly I’ve been doing, reverse engineering backwards the meeting from sex to the initial encounter. What was I telling these girls that made them want to sleep with me?

What I realized is that much of what I’m doing goes against “community wisdom”, stuff that is a little counter intuitive, particularly in the areas of conversational topics and revealing too much too quickly.

In my twenties i ONLY had mainly one night stands. i only had 2 LTRs between 1993 and 2006 - none lasting more than 9 months.

I have no idea how i did it except for i had intimacy issues, emotional issues and delusions of grandeur.

I've been in a 9 years LTR and I refuse to be in another one, it's a choice. Monogamy isn't natural... you're making it sound like there was something wrong with you, that's not necessarily true, you might have just known that a LTR isn't for you and there's nothing wrong with it.

I've read the article on your blog. What's working mainly to your advantage is what researchers call 'novelty'. Since you only stay in one place for a limited time, you've become a scarce and novel commodity. Girls who would have sex with you will never have to worry about the social consequences later on. It's the girls on vacation phenomenon in reverse.

Moreover, all it takes, scientifically speaking, to go from wide rapport (or light banter as you call it) to deep rapport (serious topics about your aspirations and her aspirations) is a mere 10 minutes. But AFCs have to breach the 4-minute disqualification mark first before they can go into wide rapport without getting blown off. If they've not been blown off in the wide rapport stage, then they can go to deep rapport. SexAddict's style as well as Retired Rodeo's style (although I haven't field tested these pick up methods as a whole yet) can also get you a same day lay or same night lay. The same day lays or same night lays for these styles are highly probable based on scientific grounding and first hand observation.

The reasons why you're getting your success now while most of us still have a long way to go are:

• 1. You have mastered all stages needed from the opening to the f-close. A skillful pick up artist can get the job done in lesser time.
  
  2. You have the advantage of novelty.

It's still taking us weeks or months as you call it because we are still mastering the steps leading to the f-close. But when I was traveling a lot too, my fastest f-close was 3 hours. I didn't know any PUA materials back then. But that's a hit or miss basis that can't be attributed to skill.

We are here to learn and polish skills. Most of us are taking time to get to where you are. It's called a learning curve rather than 'community wisdom'.

Wow ''Coincidence doesn't exist''..

I was just thinking about this stuff only yesterday, thinking about how different I do some things in comparison with the community.

Things like:
Don't try to be all mysterious, just tell a good/fun story about your life or experiences. Or bring up a 'deeper' subject if it pops into your head, even political stuff is fun to discuss, as long as your not going to debate with her and know when to stop (ofcourse you can argue about something, but women aren't as logical as men are, so at some point you should stop).
This also is way more fun because you have to hold yourself back less, your having better conversations & its sooo easy to keep such convos going:p

Good post, thanks. I've done the same when I wasn't traveling but of course there is something about me being there for just a day or two, being a novelty as you call it.

I've actually written a guide for SNLs with the help of Stelar ( http://vanofvictory.com/the-ultimate-gu ... night-lays ) but I have to add something to that... Stelar wrote several times that he is "very good looking" and he also lives in Romania (he posted a video from Bellagio club in Bucharest) .

I've been traveling for a long time and I can tell you with high degree of certainty that such method won't work everywhere with such a high degree of success + you really do have to be good looking to pull them off. Sex in Romania is like.... shaking hands somewhere else Sex is VERY free in Romania. I actually just came back 10 minutes ago from a water park here in Mamaia (Romania, on the Black Sea) There were so many young chicks there walking with their tops off.... I've NEVER seen anything like that. They are very free with their body here.

I did use his method a few times myself, successfully, but then at other times, I blew up my chances with chicks who liked me just because I was too direct. Instead of telling them "lets jump to my room so I can change my shirt" I told them "lets go to my place, I want to give you an orgasm"..... guess what? The first line works much better. Even if the girl wants to sleep with you - she'd usually prefer for you to invite her to the "seduction location" in a more subtle way.

There's nothing I like better than being super direct and fast but my personal experience is that it's less effective than "staying in" and then bringing them back home with you (or into a van of victory!) with some kind on an excuse...

In that post about SNLs I suggest to combine the two methods - start the night by building rapport with a few chicks, getting some solid numbers, and then at the end of the night, when there is not a lot of time anyway -> going direct "Stelar" style.

Well...it has only worked with me very little times. As for building rapport at clubs, useless. Utterly useless unless you plan on seriously seeing the girl again or hope to pull her...but I establish logistics very early on to see if I even want to BOTHER with the girl. Most girls are never in a position to be pulled...and then sadly I have to be with some girl who is not my first choice.

As for phanagan, the lays or "consistency" of them can be argued due to cultural context. I met a girl from Ukraine the other night in Hollywood and I basically took her right from the line at a club, direct, lots of kino, to a kiss on the spot, to a pull within 10 minutes of stating "I'll bring her back" to a friend.

I don't think there is any "mastery" to pick up when it comes to "pulling" or even same night (pulling)/same day lays. It is very obvious if the girl is willing to allow your romantic advances, it can happen on the same day/night and if the logistics align. In the end, it's the woman's choice and as PUAs we just make our intent known which is called "skill" or outer game.

I do usually call bullshit on outer game. I find no such thing exists in my experience. But obviously, the actual inner game takes time...and mostly a learning curve. People learn at different stages. Obviously the hardest thing is inner game. Outer game is cake.
