How could I make so I could meet them up 1 on 1 without any hestitations from them? If I could get there then it would be easy mode afterwards.

Answer is simple: You're doing it totally wrong. Basic rule is to make them be interested in you first, before you show interest in them. On Facebook, that's harder to do I believe but still possible.

I'm still a rAFC myself in the beginning of his path, but I know quite some theory, and the reason why you screw up is because you actually ARE a loser, a douchbag or whatever. Stop showing interest in them, start showing higher value then them, and start make them chasing you.

for example in your case: Ask a neutral question. ("hey, I need a female opinion on something..") and do this with the attitude that you are the prize. It's a priviledge for them to talk to you. Don't do this to your target directly, but to one of her friends. Ignore your target, wait for her to keep asking for your attention, then after 5-10 minutes of negging her, show interest. (this is in real life, no facebook)

That's the basic idea for the mystery method I believe.. Good luck with this.

Like you, my friend, I hate Facebook too, texting I can bear, but FB is ground to game on, even if your 'RL' game is superb (which I presume is your case, 'easy mode'). For girls who suck at responding on chat, I use something along the lines of...

"Hey, I'm gonna be in town at [time], and if you happen to be there, that would be cool too, let me know" (for example) - David DeAngelo started this one I believe, it's worked for me before on a monumental flaker.

This way, the girl can't really flake, and you can get on with your means without being rejected, or wasting your time chasing after a girl that backs out last minute. This sort of language also allows you to flake, as you're technically not arranging anything, you're just inviting them along. I like this one.

Long distance + girls who don't text and call often leaves you with Facebook (not much at all in my opinion). If I knew a solution for dealing with that then I would have solved a lot of my own relationship problems, and probably wouldn't be visiting here as much. I plan on writing up some theories and ideas about the significance of Facebook in PUA community soon.
