Ok I was in an old work venue where I know a few people. Just been Xmas shopping and stopped off for a beer.

Basically a new member of staff was arriving for an induction. The guys were talking how hot she was. The guy behind the counter welcommed her asked to to wait in the bar and offered a drink, tea coffee etc. She refused.

He then followed and got in her face for about 2 mins. After this I walked into the bar and sat at the next table. I knew I was in AFC land but thought like a PUA. I'd say HB 7-8 some guys here would have her down in the 6-7 but hey ho.

Opener of "So your coming to work here then? Have fun!" This led to a bit of fluff about when I worked there and we found out we had mutual friends.

I then lost the plot with a ramble about Xmas shopping ion Boot's 3 4 2 deal and it was so hard finding the last, FREE item. Few IOI's nothing major still on seperate tables. Chat died off.

After around 30 seconds of silence I pulled a pack of cards from my pocket and shuffled. I gained eye contact.

ME: so you play cards?
HB7: Yeah sort of?
ME: do you like card tricks?
HB7: Yes.

ME: OK then, get yourself over here and I'l show you a quick one.

She was up like a shot and had the chance to use onther chair and put her bags and stuff inbetween us. But she came in close.

I then tried a quick routine with cards Svengali. A routine simular to this.

Anyway, during the routine I got in a little Kino by drawing on the back of the hand over the card for the prediction. I should have got in with a lot more but it's easier to see after the event. During the routine I also had a ramble of something I saw in the Mystery Battles shit test when telling the subject that there is more going on in the conversation at other levels sort of thing, as the prediction of the card came though.

Anyway, during the routine I asked for a number between 3 & 6 and she answered 2. This was a quick Neg with I bet you were in the lower classes at school. lol Lot's of hoops in the routine for her to jump through. I had a text arrive during the routine but left it until the end. I then read the text said, Oh I have to go I have to meet a friend and slid my phone across the table. Just said summat along the lines of "Hey put your number in there and we will continue this conversation another time." The number went in ultra quick. Pranked to confirm saying take mine so you know who is calling when I do. Kino touch on way out saying see you soon. N Closed.

OK.

1. Not 1 single Shit Test? Any reasons why?

2. Kino. I could have got more in but I was following the routine and got lost rambling I'd seen in a mystery video.

3. How the hell I missed the handshake/squeeze on leaving I do not know. I left with a touch on the shoulder.

4. I would have thought that the card trick routine maybe have been a bit lame but if it get the 1st N close there maybe a chance for this.

5. After the Illusion was over she went to grab her bags and move. I bust her balls saying that it looks like she's in a rush to get away from me. She stayed I grabbed number.

Ah shit, Should have gone in field reports lol.

You did really well for your first sarge a lot of guys don't #close first time.
I've noticed some girls don't because they want your approval (not the other way round); she may have been unconfident (unlikely) or she may not realise she is attractive so doesn't shit test (unlikely) - the worst case is she sees you as just a friend (unlikely?).
You got some kino in which is important and you've learnt from this. I would also recommend talking less (or using fewer words) as it can be a sign of insecurity.
Once again another lesson learnt a shoulder touch is better than nothing. I personally would have gone for a hug.
Exactly, whatever works - I think most people (male or female) like magic tricks as it shows skills and most other guys don't use them so you stand-out from the crowd.

Blazer. thanks for the comments. I learnt a lot after I walked away and thought about it. At the time thought I felt reasonably confident and just plouhed through. Was expecting a shit test when I tried to number close.

The Kino went slow as I was focusing more on the card routine although I was getting good laughs in that routine. When she reached for the bag I thought the game was over but decided what the hell.

One more thing, I think I gave too much of an impression of urgency as I left the shoulder touch was like an afterthought. I left her on my table.

She wasn't an HB8 only HB7 the more I think about it.
